HEY BABE GANG!
We’re looking for an intern (or two) to help grow our social media platforms! We know a lot of people have seen and will see opportunities to gain experience in their fields fade in the coming months due to quarantine, work from home orders, and the what seems to be never ending Coronavirus pandemic. We are looking for a REMOTE intern to help out with our social media channels and learn the basics and not so basics of online media, social media marketing, and other random things that may come our way. So if you’re looking to use this time to gain some extra experience, work with awesome females that are all about ladies, and work to create an online community of amazing babes – this opportunity just might be for you!
WHO WE ARE: We are a female ran brand and storytelling website that was founded on a love of sports and has recently migrated into health, fitness, female empowerment, mental health, fashion, travel, and so much more. Often featured on our site are articles discussing women’s journeys, sports, player stories, controversies and injustices, feel good posts, body positivity, and health and wellness stories. With the on-boarding of contributing writers, we have expanded into life, style, fashion, inspiration, fitness, and all things girl. Our brand is girly yet sporty, sassy and fun, controversial yet honest-proving that women are undefinable. We are here to prove you cannot define women to one single thing. We go well beyond gender roles and we have a lot to say. A women should ALWAYS be confident and herself.
WHO YOU ARE: A sassy, undefinable, outgoing college student (or girl in general) looking to gain experience in social media content, branding, online writing, marketing, & social media growth.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: Finding images for daily content on Instagram. Growing our social media following. Strategizing social initiatives & blog content. Helping cultivate a growing network of contributing writers. Planning giveaways with likewise brands. Staying up to date on trending topics that align with the brand. Helping with WordPress & organization. Writing your own posts (if wanted).
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE: A creative & sassy attitude. Some social savyness. 5-10 hours per week to invest in the brand. Some Canva experience. A collaborative approach to everything you do. A form of communication (ie a cell phone/computer).
WHAT YOU DON’T NEED TO HAVE: Prior experience in online or social media. Writing samples. A perfect GPA. A massive personal social media following.
BONUS POINTS IF YOU: Have previous social media experience (personal page or brand). Are a frequent mood boarder / keen eye for brand development. Have a blog of your own. Have experience using WordPress & Adobe Lightroom.
